Sometimes the stone inspires me, sometimes the person who will wear the piece does and sometimes it is both of those things and more! Kristine asked me to make a ring for her using this delicious apple green Chrysoprase that she'd cut.
I started to think…the green, so clean and fresh like new leaves in the spring. Green is associated with the heart chakra, a mother's heart, Kristine's children.
Four leaves that represent her 4 children who are her heart! A set of leaves on each side of the band to represent her and her husband. Four gold granules because her children are precious and priceless. Four gold granules on the face of the ring like the 4 directions,4 winds and 4 seasons. Each is different, unique and beautiful in their own way just like her 4 children.
This is Kristine's Mother's ring.
